General

A multiplayer top-down starship shooter where the main goal is to capture the opponents home-planet. Capturing simply happening by staying still near that planet with the color surrounding it matching the opposing team. As well, the player can regain stolen territory on their planet.

Controls: For movement you use the W (accelerate forward), A (turn left), and D (turn right). For firing click the mouse in the direction away from your ship you wish to fire. You may quit the game at any time with "left alt + q".

Assault: By far the fasting moving vessel. While it has a weak hull, you will be running circles around your much slower opponents. Not to mention, the number of turrets that will be launching a flurry of metal.

Guardian: The slowest vessel with the fastest moving rounds. While the guardian is unwieldy to pilot, its shots will reach the opponent faster than any other.

Medic: The healer of any fleet. Utilize this vessel to heal your allies that have been wounded.

Bomber: A moderately speedy vessel with the most damaging weapon. While it only fires one at a time, they are large and hugely damaging.

Transport: While not particurly capable of dealing damage, its the second fastest and capable of capturing territory far faster than the others.

History

This game was developed by a group of six people during Fall 2007: Michael "Z" Goddard, Lauren Sacks, Chris DiPastina, Paul DiPastina, Ben Boeckel, and Franklin Pride. This project was planned to be finished that semester but didn't succeed at all goals but can be played and won by a team of people. Michael "Z" Goddard was the lead programmer (the only lead position, so really the lead of the project).
